Purush: Spotlight on men on RTV Bangla
A magazine programme titled Purush, featuring men is being aired on Rtv from July 24, 2006.
Divided into several segments, the first part, titled Purbopurush featured the life style of the successful last generation. The second segment, titled Uttorpurush, focused on the lifestyle of men of this generation.
Mohapurush a programme on towering personalities was the topic of discussion in this part. A documentary on personalities such as Albert Einstein, Darwin, Tagore, Nazrul Islam, Satyajit Ray, Nelson Mandela and their ideology and philosophy was portrayed in this section.
The central point in the fifth section titled Rupkarigor, was on hairstyling, fitness, and the fashion trend for men. Birpurush, a programme based on the chivalrous men and the freedom fighters of the country, was telecast on the sixth segment. Swapnapurush featured men from the glamour world. Potential characters for the segment are Sylvester Stallone, Amitabh Bachchan, Uttam Kuman, Razzak and others.
In Shaheb Babu Biotokkhana, the most talked about contemporary personality of the country was featured in the talk show. Kapurush, dealt with men who are disturbed and need counseling. The show indicated how this can be avoided and they can be given a new lease of life. Men from mofussils who have made it to the top will be featured in a programme titled Uddomipurush.
Anchored by Mehzad Galib, the programme is telecast every Monday at 8.50pm.

TV Show: Ami Tumi R.. on RTV Bangla Ami Tumi R... is a TV show telecast on RTV Bangla. Aparna Sen was the guest on january 26, the highly acclaimed Bengali film director and actress. She has been honoured with numerous awards including the prestigious Padmashree Award by the President of India in 1986 for her contribution to Indian cinema, the Satyajit Ray Memorial Millennium Award by the Rotary Club and the Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award by the Cine Central Film Society.
On the show, Aparna spoke about her cinematic voyage and her visit to Bangladesh. Directed by Korovi Mizan the show is hosted by Nima Rahman.

Ami Tumi R... a talk show telecasting on RTV Bangla features renowned cultural personalities from both Bangladesh and West Bengal, India. Actor Sabyasachi Chakrabarty, noted theatre director-Bibhash Chakrabarty, stage artist extraordinaire of India - Shaonli Mitra, Shirsendu Mukherjee, Goutam Ghosh, Madhabi Mukherjee, Srikanth Acharya, Saumitra ChatterjeeSabitri Mukherjee, Supriya Devi and band group Bhumi are participating in the programme.
Sabyasachi Chakrabarty, the guest artiste in one of the episodes playing the legendary private eye Feluda, elaborated on his works in Hindi and Bangla films and his passion for wildlife photography. The show is anchored by Nima Rahman and directed by Karobi Mizan.
The programme will be aired at 8:05 pm on Fridays.
